ANSWER Scholarship
Life Changer- Mentor Opportunity
ANSWER’s mission is to help adult mothers (age 25 and older) who are raising school-age children (grades Kindergarten-12th) fulfill their dream of earning a college degree and setting the expectation for a college education for their children. As a mentor, you will help guide their scholars to balance family, work, and school by providing advice and motivation, or even just acting as a sounding board.
Right Moves for Youth
Group Mentor
Right Moves for Youth provides students with the resources and guidance they need to graduate high school with a plan for future success. They accomplish this by utilizing group peer and adult mentoring at the students' school. As a mentor for Right Moves for Youth, you would help students better understand the pillars of the program: Service, School Accountability, Leadership, Life Skills, and College/Career Readiness.
Exodus Foundation
Men Rising to Mentor Men
Exodus Foundation strives to stop the flow of African-Americans to prison by pairing formerly incarcerated persons with culturally competent volunteers who act as mentors and life coaches. The mentors or life coaches make a one-year commitment to go on a journey with a ready-for-success returning citizen who has paid his or her dues yet faces legalized discrimination in housing, employment, education and voting.
Eagle Rock Camp
Peer to Peer Mentor
Eagle Rock Camp’s mission is to strengthen, encourage, and support military families who live with the stressors of long-term deployments and the invisible, visible and moral wounds of war. Eagle Rock Camp is currently developing a robust mentorship program that will allow mentors to work closely with military members, their caregivers, spouses, and families, in pre and post-retreat care.
