Adult Art Workshop: Empowering with Embroidery with Andrea Vail FREE

During this FREE 5 hour workshop, participants will learn to express themselves through colorful patterns, designs, or simplified images, logos, and initials! During this workshop, participants will learn basic embroidery stitches to design and begin a sew-on patch – then add your patch to any jacket, bag or canvas sneaker! Feel free to bring a magnifying glass if you have a hard time with small stitches. This will be a project to start in-studio and take home to complete.

Join our group in learning techniques to enhance and embellish your own personal style. Open to all experience levels and no prior sewing knowledge is required, but a willingness to try new materials and have fun is strongly encouraged. One hour will be provided for lunch. Feel free to bring a bag lunch, snacks to share, or head out to grab a bite. Our location is conveniently located beside the Sugar Creek Lynx Blue Line station, 1 stop from NoDa.
