Career Professionals volunteer with us in the classroom to bring our learning content to life, expand student’s social capital, model curiosity and confidence, and empower students to see themselves in future careers. Our objective is to match students with volunteer mentors that can support students through a hands-on project that brings learning to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with small groups of students to support them through a hands-on STEM experiential learning project.
- Provide insight into your career by connecting project skills to learnings from your career.
- Support students' presentation skills, critical thinking, collaborative problem solving, and provide feedback.

Volunteers work closely with Citizen Schools staff and teachers to mentor students along this hands-on learning journey. Training will be provided!

Commitment
Once a week over a 4-6 week program duration, volunteers will work with students in the classroom for 60 min each session
