Jackson Park Ministries
Repair Rockstar

Jackson Park Ministries provides support and assistance to West Charlotte’s Jackson Park community. They need handy men and women to rock out with tools on minor repairs around their campus. Singing your favorite song while completing repairs is encouraged but not required!

Habitat for Humanity Charlotte
Construction Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity Charlotte relies on the generosity and dedication of its volunteers to continue building and repairing homes and serving Charlotte's low-income families. Individual and group opportunities are always available throughout the year. The minimum age to volunteer is 16, and no prior construction experience is necessary.

Fashion & Compassion
Cater Lunch for 20

Fashion & Compassion supports vulnerable and oppressed women by providing transitional employment, supportive community and connections to individualized resources that empower women who are charting a courageous path toward a self-sustaining life of purpose. Volunteers are needed to bring lunch to artisans, staff and volunteers at our Jewelry Projects which take place Wednesdays at the boutique, Thursdays at the Harvest Center, Fridays at Project 658.

Friendship Trays
Package and Prepare Meals

Friendship Trays delivers daily, in a caring and friendly manner, balanced meals to individuals in the community who are unable to obtain or prepare their own meals because of age or infirmity. They need volunteers to work with the kitchen staff to package meals for delivery. Tasks include some chopping, dicing and slicing and washing and prepping fresh produce.

Wing Haven
Nursery Volunteers

Wing Haven Nursery volunteers are responsible for the success of semi-annual plant sales which contribute to the Wing Haven operating budget. No experience is required; on-site instruction will be provided by our garden curator and knowledgeable volunteers. Nursery volunteers perform a variety of duties including potting/propagating, assisting customers by writing tickets for their purchases, cash register operation, tidying/organizing, merchandising and more.
