Caravan for Justice

Join us as we make our way, walking, rolling, marching and convening across North Carolina in the Caravan for Justice, April 14-19!

Every Spring Witness for Peace Southeast is joined by coalition of activists, organizations, and communities who come together across North Carolina to raise awareness and encourage action on a variety of pressing issues. Throughout the Caravan, we hold educational events, vigils, marches and actions.

We are honored to have a special guest speaker with us this year from COFAMIPRO in Honduras -- Comité de Familiares de Migrantes Desaparecidos de El Progreso – El Progreso Committee for Disappeared Migrant Relatives. For decades, every year, mothers from COFAMIPRO have formed a caravan to search for their missing loved-ones along the migrant trail. Their migration stories are heartbreaking and their strength and resistance an inspiration for us all.
