The Board Treasurer:
• Opens, manages, and maintains bank accounts. (i.e. loans, credit cards, and similar accounts)
• Leverages financial software to reconcile bank accounts and produce financial statements.
• Provides explanation of financial statements to the board
• Ensures that bills are paid on time and that cash flow remains positive.
• Invests funds in a responsible way for the benefit of the organization.
• Provides documentation and information required for financial audits that ensure the organization is maintaining control over its finances
• Files tax-related documents to maintain 501c3 status
