Fundraiser planning committees
Can't make it to one of our camps but want to support our camps or adults with developmental disabilities? Have a passion for party or event planning? This may be a perfect fit.
We hold several fundraising events throughout the year:
• Pickleball For Camp Tournament: Aug. 20, 2022, Charlotte
• Hooked On Camp Fishing Derby: Sept. 9, 2022, YMCA Camp Harrison in Boomer, NC
• Blue Skies Bash: April 24, 2023, Charlotte
• Cornhole For Camp tournament: May/June 2023 Charlotte
The fundraising committees help:
• Determine and secure venues or food/beverage trucks
• Coordinate event activities
• Spread the word and recruit participants
• Help secure sponsors, raffle prizes and/or silent auction items
• Most importantly, brainstorm ways to incorporate our camper population in the event
Whatever your expertise or interest, your service would be valued and much appreciated!
