ABOUT: Charlotte New Music has come a long way over the past ten years to provide space for creation, performance, access, and education in contemporary and original music. As the leading new music organization and contemporary music festival in the Southeastern United States, we serve artists at the local, national, and international level. Over the last decade, the Charlotte New Music Festival has presented hundreds of concert & festival experiences, full of world-premieres by both up-and-coming and renowned composers. Composers and Musicians have also come from every continent (except Antarctica) to collaborate and participate in our programs. CNM’s offerings include concerts, festivals, innovative experiences, cross-disciplinary collaborations, youth ensemble, educational events, and professional development for artists.
