Families select essential household furniture at our Furniture Bank and then a team of volunteers helps move it to the family's new home. This service saves families from using their limited financial resources on the high costs associated with moving expenses, and helps families live with the dignity that comes from having a properly furnished home. Volunteer teams load, transport, and unload furniture and household goods for families leaving homelessness. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and able to lift and carry large items. Groups will need to rent a moving truck or use a large pick-up truck and car pool to the homes together.
