This March 29th – May 25th, International House, in Partnership with Cultural Vistas, is delighted to be hosting a cultural exchange program for 30 emerging leaders from Taiwan and providing them opportunities to gain valuable international internship experience in the United States by immersing them in internships with host organizations, homestays, and cultural activities. This program will focus on international Trade and Business Development.

International house is looking for individuals and families to welcome young leaders from Taiwan into their homes March 29th – May 25th, 2019 (full 2 month commitments are preferred, but partial commitments will also be accepted), serve as cultural ambassadors in the evenings and weekends, as well as provide breakfast and dinner.

General Requirements and Expectations:
-The host family is capable of providing a comfortable and nurturing home that is clean and sanitary
-Everyone in the household is in reasonably good health
-Exchange participant's bedroom contains a separate bed, not shared by a member of the opposite sex
-Exchange participant has reasonable access to bathroom facilities
-The home is in a safe neighborhood in reasonable commuting distance
-The Host Family provides a welcoming home that is respectful of other cultures
-Treat your guest(s) like a member of your family
-Share your favorite cultural parts of the city and state with the visitors

A Home Host Orientation will be arranged prior to your guest’s arrival.
