We provide complimentary transportation for breast cancer patients to Dr. appts, to get medicine and to run light errands. We stay with patients during their appointments. We are patient advocates, as well as offer support to patients and their families. We provide comfort bags to newly diagnosed patients. IMPACT OF COVID-19 - SPECIFIC NEEDS: How We Are Impacted: Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to Suspend ALL volunteer activity until further notice. This also means that "complimentary transportation" has been reduced. Typically, our Team graciously provides transportation to all doctor appointments, and errands for cancer patients. We are now only able to provide transportation for essential appointments and treatments.
