Body & Soul Senior Fitness
What We Do
Body & Soul Senior Fitness partners with local churches to provide a place for senior adults to grow physically stronger, meet new friends and find joy in daily living. Our fitness classes include strength training, balance and mind/body work. We hold monthly lunches and other social events to expand their social circle. Health fairs, lunch and learns, and art projects offers opportunities to learn new things. Community service is a wonderful part of giving back and feeling connected and purposeful. Fun and laughter happen each time we meet. Body & Soul Senior Fitness is where fitness, fun and fellowship become one.
- The average age of our senior adults is 80+. Each month we keep 400+ senior adults moving, laughing and enjoying life.
- By 2050, it is anticipated that Americans aged 65 or older will number nearly 89 million people, or more than double the number of older adults in the United St
- We get calls from all over the county so a goal we would love to reach in the next year is to start 5 new classes.
