What We Do
Hands for Holly supports families in need who are caring for a child with cancer by providing emergency financial assistance, education & planning services.
Hands for Holly was co-founded by 14-year old Holly Wade as she battled brain cancer. Our vision is to disrupt the financial burden of cancer by providing a continuum of assistance for families battling childhood cancer and allowing them to focus on their child's treatment and recovery.
We do this by paying emergency expenses, i.e. mortgage, utilities, groceries, transportation, and more. We also coordinate free access to financial planners and financial education tools to alleviate financial stress, and give families the ability to focus on their child.
Since 2016 we have distributed more than $500,000 to families in crisis, but there is so much more that needs to be done. Please consider donating to our mission, attending or sponsoring an event, or volunteering with us to help families during their most critical time of need.
