Founded in 1949, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to fighting blood cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.
Locally in North Carolina, our 2 offices in Charlotte and Cary serve thousands patients from across the entire state, providing co-pay and travel assistance, educational materials, and a platform for corporations and individuals to help LLS achieve its mission to eradicate blood cancer. We know that Beating Cancer Is In Our Blood!

- In 2016, LLS provided $1,923,133 in co-pay and travel assistance to 753 NC blood cancer patients in North Carolina.
