What We Do
Project One looks for students from single parent families who are involved in their community, stand out academically, and possess a strong desire to succeed through higher education. The Project One Scholarship will assist with college tuition, books, and room and board for four years while at a North Carolina state sponsored college or university. But what sets Project One apart from other scholarships are the Programs for Success. Project One provides every Scholar with a Mentor, a Financial Literacy Course through Wells Fargo's Hand on Banking, and a Gifts/Talents Course that will help the Scholar identify their strengths and discover ways to be involved with their community.
