Novant Health Thanksgiving Parade Volunteers

Join us for the 75th Anniversary of this beloved tradition! This year, the parade will light up the night stepping on at 6pm Thanksgiving Eve - Wednesday, November 24 on Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. Be a part of our region's official start to the Holiday season, complete with lights, music, and ingenuity.

The Parade relies on a dedicated team of volunteers to ensure the parade continues to entertain and delight audiences on the street and watching on television. Working together, our volunteers help create excitement and continue the tradition of the Thanksgiving Parade.

It takes 1,000+ dedicated volunteers to produce the parade. From audience engagement to behind-the-scenes, volunteer opportunities include:
-Balloon Handlers
-Costume Walkers
-Talent to perform while walking (jugglers, stilt walkers, etc.)
-Sign holders
-Puppeteers

Volunteering with the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade is a fun and engaging way for your organization to bridge team-building with community service. We invite families, groups, and community organizations to volunteer.
