Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail

Come explore Laurel Hill Farm and Preserve during Open Farm Day! Laurel Hill Farm and Preserve is a parcel of land in Gastonia, NC, that is conserved by Catawba Lands Conservancy. Home to several native plant species, Laurel Hill Farm also hosts bees, poultry, pigs, and Nubian dairy goats. This event will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about sustainable farming practices, native flora and fauna, and even go on some short hikes exploring the area.
