The Arts Teacher (dance, writing, art, sketching, etc.) will be responsible for developing in each youth an interest in and the ability for creative expression, using skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with organization guidelines; to develop aesthetic understandings and appreciations; to discover and develop talents of youth in the field of art. Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: Candidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the school-age level. Evidence of a high level of artistic skill, cultural knowledge and creative accomplishment is expected. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to teach at the entry and intermediate levels. This is a volunteer position.
