Position Overview

The Sponsor Relations Coordinator plays a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, ensuring the success of the Adopt-a-Room program and other sponsorship initiatives. This individual will manage sponsor communications, track sponsorship statuses, coordinate recognition activities, and develop strategies to enhance partnerships.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate records of sponsors, including sponsorship terms, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and execute sponsor recognition efforts, such as signage, social media posts, and thank-you messages.
  • Send timely reminders for sponsorship renewals and share updates about program impacts to ensure sponsors remain informed and appreciated.
  • Schedule and facilitate sponsor-related activities, including tours, events, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • A passion for STEM education and the mission of Queen City Robotics Alliance.
  • Commitment to making a positive impact through non-profit work.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in customer service, relationship management, or fundraising is a plus.

Commitment and Reporting

  • This is a volunteer position without remuneration, reporting to the program manager or executive leadership.
  • The estimated time commitment is 8–12 hours per month, with additional hours may be required during renewal periods or major events.
  • Volunteers must register with FIRST and successfully complete the Youth Protection screening process.
  • Volunteers represent QCRA to stakeholders and act as ambassadors for the organization.
