SOAR- Teen Summer Volunteering
Students Organized to Advocate for Raptors (SOAR) are trained to educate visitors about raptor conservation through the use of hands-on activities.
--Lead hands-on activities about conservation
--Answer visitor questions
--Teach others how to help raptors in the wild
--Assist with summer camp
SOAR is an eleven week summer volunteer program for high school students, from June 14 through August 23, 2020.
Before they can volunteer, potential SOAR volunteers MUST:
--Complete an application online by May 25, 2020.
--Successfully pass an interview
--Attend the mandatory training on Saturday, June 13, 1pm - 5pm
--Lead hands-on activities about conservation
--Answer visitor questions
--Teach others how to help raptors in the wild
