Soccer Foundation of Charlotte, Soccer FC, is a non-profit organization that provides free after-school soccer and literacy programming to Title 1 elementary schools in the Charlotte Mecklenburg area. Our goal is to give every child in Charlotte a chance to play, regardless of their socioeconomic status. We also aim to improve literacy for our players by talking positively about reading, engaging them in an active read-aloud every practice, and building their home libraries. Each week every child gets to choose a book to take home with them to keep.

We have been announced as one of Charlotte FC’s, the new Major League Soccer team in Charlotte’s, main community partners. As a result of this partnership, we are drastically expanding our programming across Charlotte and are actively looking for engaging, friendly, and responsible coaches to join our team.
