Social Media Coordinator (Volunteer)

The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte is seeking a social media professional to help create content to drive engagement on social media. This position will be (remotely) managed by the Executive Director and will collaborate with the Program Coordinator. Please note that this is a VOLUNTEER position. Candidates can work remotely from anywhere. We are seeking a commitment of a weekly minimum of 5 hours.

Your Skills
· Digital Marketing
· Social Media

Your Experience
· Experience managing social media accounts for business or organization(s) (preferred)
· Experience creating measurable content and posts across social media platforms
· Populating social media content calendars (preferred)

Primary Responsibilities
TASKS MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Create and execute social media campaigns for events and programs
· Create and consult on social media coverage schedule
· Create and edit social media copy
· Post on social media accounts as needed, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Strong writing skills
