Social Media Manager - REMOTE
We need part-time assistance to help promote our organization on social media platforms. This position is 100% remote, with flexible hours. Volunteers should expect to work 2-5 hours monthly.
Responsibilities Include:
• Develop multi-media marketing campaigns including: on-line advertising, social media and email marketing content
• Set up metrics, tracking systems and dashboard views for key stakeholders to easily understand activities and results
• Work cooperatively with the Executive Director and Marketing Team to develop campaign ideas and conduct regular update meetings to understand campaign effectiveness and progress
• Conduct competitive analysis to understand various marketing approaches
Requirements Include:
• Passionate about social media, marketing, digital marketing, and analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
• Content writing experience for all media platforms
• Strategic and creative mindset
• Meticulous attention to detail
About our organization:
Raise a Child of the Carolinas (the RACC) is a 501 c3 non-profit organization focused on exposing youth to educational opportunities that are underrepresented in their communities, thus inspiring them to reach their full potential. The RACC organization was started in 2018 and provides local children with tutoring, seasonal camps and family programs and offers English as a Second Language programs as well. Throughout the pandemic, the RACC has also partnered with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to offer in-person education solutions to supplement the remote learning process.
