DO GOOD Week: Intern Opportunities

Ever wonder what it would be like to work for a Charlotte-area nonprofit? There is no better way to gain valuable hands-on experience and gain and understanding into the mission of an organization than by serving as an intern.

Opportunities to build a resume through interning are available all year long with many organizations, not just in the summer months, making these internships a great fit for Charlotte-area college and high-school students or recent graduates.

Featured Intern Opportunities:

Families Forward Charlotte
Social Media / Marketing Intern

Families Forward Charlotte aims to ease the burden of poverty on children and their families in Mecklenburg County and is looking for a college-aged intern to devise a social media and marketing strategic plan. This intern will work closely with board members who currently work in those divisions.

Joining our team provides an intern with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit and administrative operations, with potential opportunities for special projects depending on the applicant’s skills.

MeckEd is seeking summer interns with the primary focus of the student obtaining on-the-job training while relating content learned in the classroom to its application in the real world.

The Foundation For Tomorrow
