Event Recap: TIAA Volunteer Fair
Since 1918 TIAA, has championed a singular belief: A secure retirement should be available to everyone. Today, they are fighting harder than ever to ensure all people can live a better life beyond work.
Their success is driven by a strong, mission-driven culture, and we are dedicated to creating an environment at TIAA where every employee can thrive. Giving back is at the heart of who they are. They demonstrate this through strategic partnerships that support First Generation College Students and through active employee volunteerism within their communities.
In order to help their employees meet local nonprofits to find volunteer and engagement opportunities, they partnered with SHARE Charlotte to host an on-site volunteer fair.
“Our employees, especially those new to Charlotte, are eager to find new and meaningful ways to give back and today’s Volunteer Fair with SHARE Charlotte is a perfect opportunity to do that. We’re grateful to welcome 16 incredible nonprofits to our campus to share their missions and show us how we can get involved. The turnout from our team has been fantastic, and I’m excited to hear about the new connections and causes that sparked their interest," said Julie Cross, Community Impact Director at TIAA.
