Diverse Mix of Business and Community Leaders Includes Three New Members
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (7/8/21) – SHARE Charlotte, a one-stop shop for connecting with 500+ Mecklenburg County nonprofits, today announced its 2021 Board of Directors that includes five returning members and three new additions including:
Sivilay Xayasaene, Associate Senior Interior Designer at Gresham Smith
Sivilay uses her talent for interior design to deliver unique high-performance workplace solutions for her clients. In the community, she is a passionate volunteer and enjoys using her design and photography skills to help local nonprofits. She also serves on the board of local nonprofit Do Greater Charlotte that she became connected with through sharecharlotte.org.
Jordan Harris, Senior Manager of Community Relations and Events at American Tire Distributors
Jordan is a community relations specialist with a decade’s worth of experience in project management, program development, and organizational citizenship and is enthusiastic about growing capacity within organizations, communities, and people. She also serves as a board member for University City Partners and the McCrorey Branch YMCA.
Megan Orrell, Owner of Boem Boutique
Megan founded the women's clothing store Boem in 2008 with the goal of offering attainable fashion and giving women a comfortable, inclusive place to shop. Boem’s flagship brick and mortar store is located in the heart of Charlotte’s Southpark neighborhood and she expanded to South End’s Atherton Mill in 2020. Megan is passionate about leveraging her experience and platform for the greater good. In the community, she is a Mentor with Wayfinders and on the Marketing Committee for Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region.

- Jarian Kerekes, Head of Social Impact and Equitable Foundation at Equitable
“We’ve always been very intentional about board size, roles, growth, and fit,” said Colleen Brannan, SHARE Charlotte Board Chair since 2020, now serving her second term. “Each new and returning board member has a specific skill set SHARE Charlotte needs, a rock star record of volunteerism, and a passion for community engagement.”
