SHARE Charlotte Welcomes Five New Board Members

SHARE Charlotte is proud to announce the addition of five outstanding new board members, along with the promotion of April Whitlock to Vice Chair of the Board. 

These dynamic leaders represent a powerful step forward for SHARE Charlotte, reflecting both the strength of our strategic partnerships and the momentum of our continued growth. Their collective expertise and passion for community will be instrumental in advancing our mission and deepening our impact across Charlotte.

Our mission is to  build a better Charlotte by empowering nonprofits and helping people invest in their communities in ways that matter most to them.

Over the past 11 years we have influenced over $59M in giving back to local nonprofits and host over 750+nonprofits that serve Mecklenburg County on our platform, shareharlotte.org.

April Whitlock, Head of Corporate Citizenship at LendingTree
We’re thrilled to announce that April has been promoted to Vice Chair of the SHARE Charlotte board and will step into the role of Board Chair in January 2026. Over the past two years, April has been an invaluable member of our board, consistently contributing her strategic insight, thought leadership, and deep passion for community engagement.

As SHARE Charlotte enters an exciting new chapter of growth, we are confident that April’s leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission. With her at the helm, we look forward to unlocking even more generosity across Charlotte, strengthening our ties with the corporate community, and continuing to champion the incredible work of our nonprofit leaders and their teams.

Meghan Greene, Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations at Barings
Meghan Greene is a Managing Director on the Human Resources team at Barings and leads the Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations teams globally.  In her HR leadership roles, she is committed to partnering with business leaders to foster a differentiated teammate experience that inspires high performance, engagement and belonging at Barings.

We’re honored to welcome Meghan to SHARE Charlotte and to benefit from her expertise as we continue to foster a strong organizational culture and invest in talent development both within our team and across our community.

Khalil Salim, Director of Research and Evaluation at United Way of Greater Charlotte  
Khalil Salim is a Community Psychologist and has served as United Way’s Director of Research and Evaluation since 2021. Khalil leads research and evaluation efforts related to United Way’s community investments to help understand the impact of its work and make data-informed decisions to maximize impact in the community. 

We’re excited to welcome Khalil to SHARE Charlotte and to leverage his expertise in research and evaluation to help us measure, enhance, and strengthen the impact of our programs across the board.

Jessie Hermann, Vice President of Nonprofit Services at Foundation For The Carolinas

Jessie Hermann serves as Vice President of Nonprofit Services at Foundation For The Carolinas, where she leads the Center for Nonprofit Sustainability and supports hundreds of nonprofits across the region. A Charlotte native, Jessie brings experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, with a passion for strengthening local organizations through strategic partnerships, capacity building, and community engagement.

We’re thrilled to welcome Jessie to SHARE Charlotte, bringing with her a strong background in nonprofit leadership and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the sector.

Azanique Rawl, Community and Crew Experience Lead at Vanguard

Azanique leads Vanguard’s community and crew experience with a focus on creating new embedded engagement strategies for US crew members. Over the past two years, her responsibilities have included cultivating internal and external relationships to build experience journeys, deepen non-profit trust and strengthen Vanguard's culture of caring. Prior to Vanguard, Azanique was based in Austin leading culture and events at a start-up for the business’s US, Japan and Australia markets. 

We are truly honored to welcome Azanique to our board. Her extensive experience in corporate citizenship and philanthropy—spanning diverse organizations and markets—will be an invaluable asset.

Logan Pavkov, Manager, Corporate Citizenship at Ally

Logan Pavkov joined Ally, the nation’s largest all digital bank, in 2021. As part of the Corporate Citizenship team, she manages the organization’s charitable giving and community affairs initiatives. Serving Ally’s two hometown markets of Charlotte, NC and Detroit, MI, she leads charitable engagement through programmatic grant and sponsorship funding, outcome reporting and stakeholder management. Prior to joining Ally, Logan held roles in nonprofit operations, resource development and community relations. 

We’re excited to bring Logan’s diverse experience in corporate citizenship, grantmaking, employee engagement and nonprofit leadership to SHARE Charlotte.
