We are excited to debut the Spotlight on CLT Podcast presented by TIAA and hosted by Keith Cradle, Ph.D.

This month we are going to be shining our spotlight on our Black-led and Black-benefitting nonprofit partners and talking about how you can support their crucial work in the community. Episode 1
This first podcast episode features Valaida Fullwood, Founding Member of New Generation of African American Philanthropists, and Nicole Eley-Carr, Director of Engagement at the Ford Foundation. They discuss their work in the community, thoughts on the importance of funding Black-led organizations, the history of #BPM2021CLT, and more!

Episode 2

This episode is all about mentoring and features Courtnie Coble McIntosh, Executive Director of The Academy of Goal Achievers (TAOGA), and Angelique Fisher, parent of a Goal Achiever. Courtnie discusses the services TAOGA provides to students, and Angelique shares a parent's perspective on how the program has benefitted her student. They also discuss TAOGA's most urgent needs, how they pivoted programming because of COVID-19, and more!

Episode 3

This week's episode is all about building trust within the community and features Jamall Kinard, Executive Director of Lakeview Neighborhood Alliance (LNA). Jamall discusses how he came to lead LNA, the importance of building trust, and why it is crucial to preserve the history of Charlotte's historically diverse neighborhoods.
