Women's History Month: Volunteer Opportunities and Events

March is Women's History Month and it is a celebration of women's contributions to history, culture and society.  This is also a time to celebrate and support the more than 75% of women who lead nonprofit organizations.   In honor of these amazing women we wanted to showcase volunteer opportunities and events of nonprofits organizations who are led by women or benefit women.  See the list below.   Also,  you can attend  #WomenGiveCLT which is a new event co-hosted by SHARE Charlotte, Women's Impact Fund and The Junior League of Charlotte to bring together philanthropically minded women to meet 50+ local nonprofits for a night of meeting new friends and connecting with some amazing nonprofits. All women are welcome to attend, you don't need to be affiliated with any current women's organization.   Volunteer Opportunities and Events for Women's History Month   Go Jen Go Foundation Event: The 10th Annual Run Jen Run 5K & Festival is Saturday, March 12th. Volunteer Opportunities:  Pre-race and Race Day volunteer opportunities are available on Friday, March 11th and Saturday, March 12th.
