SUMMER ARTS Camp: Building a Portrait Studio

Kids and teens, capture and edit images with artistic expression! Charlotte-based artist Will Jenkins will virtually teach 11 to 16 year-old students how to develop their photography and visual storytelling skills. This camp will cover skills in lighting, subject placement, and photo editing. Students will be able to creatively use the supply materials along with any personal items to create visually compelling images that complement their unique personalities. Artwork created during the week will be shown in a virtual Artwork Showcase on the last day of class.

Students will need access to a camera or a smartphone for this camp.

All supplies for the week will be provided in the camp art box. Delivery to Mecklenburg and Gaston counties are included in the camp cost. If you are outside these counties, you will be contacted to pay a $15 shipping fee.
