SUMMER ARTS Camp: Caricature Drawing and Beyond

Kids and teens, harness your artistic decision-making through caricature drawing! Charlotte-based artist Lo’Vonia Parks will virtually teach 11 to 16 year-old students the fundamentals of drawing faces along with the history and techniques of the caricature style. Later in the week, students will develop their own caricature drawings with the use of color while increasing their drawing speed. Artwork created during the week will be shown in a virtual Artwork Showcase on the last day of class.

All supplies for the week will be provided in the camp art box. Delivery to Mecklenburg and Gaston counties are included in the camp cost. If you are outside these counties, you will be contacted to pay a $15 shipping fee.
