Event:
SUMMER ARTS Camp: Collaging on Vinyl Records
Kids and teens, transform vinyl records into art inspired by music! This virtual camp puts a new spin on the classic technique of collage by highlighting favorite musicians. Charlotte-based artist Jaianna McCants will teach 11 to 16 year-old students the fundamentals of digital and physical collage-making by generating digital concepts that they will bring to life on recycled records with images and paint. Artwork created during the week will be shown in a virtual Artwork Showcase on the last day of class.
Students will need access to a printer for this camp.
All supplies for the week will be provided in the camp art box. Delivery to Mecklenburg and Gaston counties are included in the camp cost. If you are outside these counties, you will be contacted to pay a $15 shipping fee.
