YWCA Central Carolinas

Event:
How Has COVID-19 Impacted Our Systems?
COIVD-19 continues to impact loved ones, healthcare workers, service industry workers, children and our entire system. Its impact challenges everyone to become creative, resourceful and caring. Yet, the coronavirus pandemic has allowed us to come together, across all sectors, regardless of socioeconomic status, to create a sense of community again. Join YWCA Central Carolinas as we talk to individuals leading this fight in our systems and learn how they have had to adjust to this new normal. What policies and procedures have they had to adjust in order to meet the needs of the community? Panelists will include D.A. Spencer Merriweather, Sheriff Garry McFadden, Loaves and Fishes’ Grants and Advocacy Coordinator Shay Merritt, CMS Superintendent Earnest Winston and General Presbyter Jan Edmiston from The Presbytery of Charlotte. JCSU’s Program Director for the Master Work Program, Dr. Melvin Herring, will moderate the discussion. This forum will take place on Thursday, June 25 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm via Zoom. The Zoom Link will be sent two days prior to the event. You will be able to log in through video chat or listen in through the phone.
