2024 Charlotte Gem Preservation Awards

The Charlotte Gem Preservation Awards is the premier fundraising event for the Museum and celebrates Charlotte’s unique history and culture through performances, immersive activities, music, and food and drink. This event also includes the honoring of restoration and building projects in the greater Charlotte region that exemplify the best of historic preservation at the Charlotte Preservation Awards. (winners announced in April 2024).

This year our 2024 Charlotte Gem Award winner is Dena R. Diorio, Mecklenburg County Manager.
