CIEE

Hello!

We are currently seeking volunteer host families in the Charlotte area for our high school exchange students! We have students arriving in August 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. 

CIEE is the country’s oldest and largest nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization! Our students represent over 70 nationalities and are placed in 49 states in the US.

Perhaps you or someone you know would be interested in the opportunity to be a volunteer host family for a semester and gain a family member across the globe!

Our students will attend the public high school closest to their host family and can take school transportation or carpool. They speak good English and have their own medical insurance as well as their own spending money to cover their personal expenses. A volunteer host family simply puts another plate on the table and welcomes the student as one of their own! Host families can be retired, single parents, couples with or without children of any age, etc.
