A Workshop Series for Leaders to Learn, Stimulate Conversation, and Fuel Change

Joining a nonprofit board member training program is a valuable investment for both individuals and the organizations
they serve, helping to strengthen governance, enhance effectiveness, and drive positive impact in the community.

There are two sessions:

Nonprofit Board Service 101: The Foundations of Equitable Governance

Thursday, May 16 | Registration: 12:30pm - 1pm, Session: 1pm - 5pm

This introductory workshop explores the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board service through the lens of equity and an examination of how the nonprofit board members can shape their organizations for the benefit of everyone in their communities.

Governance 201: Actions and Perspectives on Racial Equity and Nonprofit Board Service

Wednesday, June 5 | Registration: 12:30pm - 1pm, Session: 1pm - 5pm

This interactive four-hour session builds on the foundational roles shared in "Nonprofit Board Service 101" and expands the discussion of the history and impact of American racial inequity on nonprofit organizations.
