Thompson

Volunteer Opportunity:
Tigertown Takeover
I'm Interested!

Tigertown is our “free store”, full of  items donated by our community  for the children and families we serve.  We keep it stocked with hygiene items, clothing, shoes, sports equipment, books, toys, baby products, school and art supplies, bedding, and more.

Thompson staff access Tigertown when the children and families we serve have tangible needs. Tigertown Takeovers is a unique opportunity for your group to engage with each other and the Thompson team.

A Tigertown Takeover is when a group(10-20 people max) will:

  • STOCK- We send you a current list of needs. Your group gathers donations and brings them to our campus.
  • ORGANIZE - Your group organizes your donations AND what might already be in the store. This may include labeling, color-coordinating, arranging clothing and shoe sizes, re-arranging items, etc.
  • CLEAN - Your group helps with sweeping, dusting, collecting trash, etc.

Availability: Mon-Fri, 9 am-1pm for 1 hour + 30 minutes max.

Please email Chantel Ellison, Donor Engagement Manager at cellison@thompsoncff.org if your group are interested in this opportunity.
