About | SHARE Charlotte

SHARE Charlotte believes the rising tide lifts all boats, and there is tremendous power in Charlotte’s nonprofit community coming together to celebrate their impact and communicate their needs as part of one loud, community-wide conversation about good.

Presented by Wells Fargo and powered by SHARE Charlotte, #GivingTuesdayCLT is Charlotte’s local response to the global GivingTuesday movement. It is an unprecedented collaboration of hundreds of Charlotte nonprofits as well as corporations, local businesses, community organizations and individuals coming together through good. #GivingTuesdayCLT has influenced more than $27M in gifts to Mecklenburg County nonprofits and inspired over 20,000 new donors.

On May 5, 2020 SHARE also lead Charlotte's response to #GivingTuedayNow, a global day of giving to respond to the COVID-19 crisis - learn more here

SHARE Charlotte’s Give Shop® is an online marketplace that consolidates hundreds of Charlotte nonprofits’ Amazon wish lists, making it easy for our Charlotte neighbors to “shop for good” and purchase the items nonprofits need most to run their businesses and programs. Donations of tangible items helps nonprofits save operational dollars, and giving back in this way allows our Charlotte neighbors a unique, fun and easy way to give. Annually, Shop for GOOD, presented by Bank of America, encourages the Charlotte community to give back by purchasing the tangible items that nonprofits need most from their Amazon wish lists, which can all be found in our proprietary Give Shop®! Items get shipped directly to the nonprofit's door, and donors know exactly where their money is going. See the results: 2020 | 2019 | 2018 | 2017 | 2016 | 2015

Wish List Wednesday, also presented by Bank of America, complements SHARE Charlotte’s annual Shop for GOOD campaign, serving as a reminder to our community that nonprofits need supplies to stay up and running 365 days a year. Wish List Wednesday allows SHARE Charlotte to highlight timely needs of local nonprofit partners throughout the calendar year. Read more here!

DO GOOD Week, powered annually by Duke Energy, was created to highlight local volunteer needs during National Volunteer Week and to rally our community to DO GOOD by giving their time. View past results: 2020 | 2019 | 2018
