Employers & Volunteers Unite for the Community (multiple dates)

Join Veterans Bridge Home, local employers, employee resource groups, and community volunteers for a series of impactful projects supporting the Charlotte area. Our activities vary monthly, addressing different community needs:

  • Types of Projects: Park beautification, Cedar Grove Cemetery upkeep, Roof Above (Operation Sandwich).
  • Locations: Activities take place at Camp Greene, Freedom Park, Veterans Park, Latta Park, Cedar Grove Cemetery, and VBH HQ.
  • Activities: Include watershed projects, stream cleanups, debris collection, mulching, cemetery maintenance, and headstone care.
  • Attire: Depends on the project.
  • Timing: Events typically run from 8 AM to 12:30 PM.

  • September 12: Freedom Park
  • October 10: Operation Save Cedar Grove Cemetery
  • November 7: Thompson and Veterans Park
  • December 14: Forest Lawn and Cedar Grove Cemeteries (Date may change based on Wreaths Across America's schedule)
