Festival in the Park

Festival in the Park returns for its 61st year in Freedom Park with an eclectic assortment of live musical performances, along with a myriad of visual arts and crafts to entertain the entire family. Main Stage music performances can include a Saturday evening performance by a tribute band.  Past groups have included Greggy and the Jets, an Elton John tribute band. Other weekend entertainment includes performances by the youth of We Rock Charlotte and members of the Charlotte Folk Society. Amusement rides and attractions for all ages will again return to the Festival’s Family Fun Zone. The three-day event features nearly 190 arts and crafts exhibits, 3 performance stages and nearly 1,000 family-friendly entertainers. Admission is free.
