About This Program
In this 12-week music program, students will dive into the essentials of audio engineering and music production. Designed for beginners, this after-school cohort equips participants with the skills needed to create professional-quality music and explores various careers in the industry. Various special guest will share their music industry experience and provide hands-on training examples when applicable.
Participants will experience the following:
- Learn essential techniques using industry-standard music software and hardware
- Explore the full process of music production, from recording to mastering
- Engage with guest speakers in the music industry who will provide hands-on training and share their experiences
- Collaborate and share work with peers, mimicking real-world networking environments
The final week features the "Demo Tape" showcase, where students present their finished projects, gaining valuable feedback and retaining full ownership of their creations.
