Financially Lit! Student Financial Literacy Workshop
Become Financially Lit by learning to manage money effectively, multiply your savings and think with a long term mindset of wealth. We want to teach millennial how to manage their money effectively, multiply their savings, and think with a long term mindset about wealth.The workshop will teach students the importance of managing, saving and budgeting finances. We will share information to help students save for college. Second Week- Broke Vs. Wealthy Habits Budgeting Credit Assets/Liabilities Needs/Wants Taxes Hip Hop and Finance Time management / Stress Management Entrepreneurship In the second week, we will dive deeper into some the financial topics already discussed as well as discuss new topics to enlighten the students. Some of the things covered will include having a financial mindset, how understanding credit and taxes can benefit them, and comprehending the differences between needs, wants, assets, and liabilities. We will also touch on life principles of emotional health and organizational skills that will make for a healthy but productive lifestyle. We will also tap into the students creative sides allowing them to come up with their own business ideas.
