What We Do

Community School of the Arts (CSA) is a nonprofit arts education organization with the mission to "transform lives and inspire community through outstanding and accessible arts education." The School reaches 4,000 students annually through high-quality music and visual arts programming, including private lessons, group classes, summer camps, workshops, and Charlotte Children's Choir programs. Nearly half of those 4,000 students pay reduced or no tuition through CSA’s extensive financial aid, merit scholarship, and outreach programs. Community School of the Arts believes that the arts should be available to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Interesting Info

CSA teaches 4,000 students each year.
More than half of CSA students enjoy programs at free or reduced rates, thanks to outreach programs, need-based financial aid, and community partnerships.
Our programs are taught at Spirit Square and more than a dozen satellite studios from Cornelius to Ballantyne.
