What We Do

Want to tackle Charlotte's affordable housing problem?  Want to positively impact a family's life?

Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region strives for a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We build strength, stability and self-reliance by partnering with families and communities thought New Home Construction, Critical Home Repair, Financial Literacy and Neighborhood Revitalization.

Since 1983, Habitat Charlotte has partnered with more than 4,200+ families in need of safe, decent housing. Habitat Charlotte builds new homes with community volunteers, and also completes critical repairs to older, owner-occupied homes. The demand for affordable housing is great. 34,000+ families in Charlotte still live in substandard or cost-burdened housing conditions.
