McLeod Centers for Wellbeing
The mission of McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is to support those experiencing substance use disorders by building a foundation of healing and hope based on equity, education, and evidence-based practice for everyone, regardless of status or ability to pay. At McLeod Centers, we seek to provide services using a dignified, equitable, and accessible approach that allows us to reach all members of our community including those who may experience barriers to seeking treatment in other settings.
With over 50 years of experience in treating substance use disorders in residential and outpatient settings, McLeod Centers offers intensive outpatient programs, justice services, a 30-bed residential center with associated wrap-around services in Charlotte, NC, and 8 medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs across North Carolina.
We approach substance use treatment from a harm reduction perspective, and a three-pronged approach:
Equity: We treat anyone, no matter their circumstances.
Education: We focus on education for patients and the community about Substance Use Disorder, as well as staff continuing education
Evidence-based practice: All our treatments are evidence-based to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
