What We Do

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte mission is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Our purpose is to care for families with children who are ill or injured.

WAYS TO HELP!

Provide a meal: Plan your menu, buy the ingredients, and then cook for our families in House kitchen. Sign up HERE.
Purchase Wish List items: Snacks, comfort items, and household products are needed to support families every day! Purchase directly from Amazon, Walmart, or Target, or drop items by our House in person 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. See all of our wish lists HERE.
Volunteer your time: Check out our individual and group volunteer opportunities including House, Family Room, Happy Wheels Carts, Pet Therapy, Cookie Crews and much more!

We manage 3 programs, the House, the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Caroline's Corner at Hemby Children's Hospital, and our "Happy Wheels" Hospitality Carts.
Since opening in 2011, RMHC of GC has served over 12,000 families from all over the world.
Our volunteers bake over 35 dozen cookies each week.
