What We Do
Safe Alliance provides hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault in Mecklenburg County.
IMPACT OF COVID-19 - SPECIFIC NEEDS:
During this uncertain time, we are incurring additional unexpected costs of approximately $2,500 per day to meet our clients' needs quickly, efficiently, and safely. Your unrestricted gift enables us to respond nimbly to the needs of our clients' during this unpredictable time of social distancing and upheaval. Make your gift today: www.safealliance.org/covid19.
We also need financial donations to help the Domestic Violence Shelter pivot its monthly 8-hour “Victim Services 101” volunteer and outreach training to e-learning. Our direct client work is sustained by 950+ volunteers who must be expertly trained to respond to 24/7 domestic violence, sexual assault, and parent support hotline calls, hospital accompaniment for forensic rape exams, court advocacy and education, and much more.
