What We Do
Established in 2013, the Steve Smith Family Foundation is dedicated to providing hope and inspiration to those in need and advancing causes that are close to the heart of the founder’s family, including domestic violence awareness and prevention, as well as family health and wellness services.
In 2016, the foundation launched the Smith Family Wellness Center in partnership with Project 658. To date, the clinic has served over 3,000 individuals with free medical and counseling services to those who are uninsured or underinsured.
Interesting Info
- We are actively raising funds to assist homeless students learn virtually through our efforts to establish a support center. We're starting with 35 kids.
- During COVID-19, we've been able to partner with Urban League of Central Carolinas to produce PPE for essential workers
- We have partnered with EverFi and CMS to launch a mental health wellness course for kids. We have 20 kids on platform and 95 signed up across four CMS Schools.
