Ages of Children: K-1st, 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th Grade Location: Afterschool Classroom Key Responsibilities: (1) read with assigned student (2) listens to assigned student read while providing support with reading strategies and comprehension Time Commitment: The Reading Buddy requires a minimum commitment of one hour per week for a minimum of two weeks per month between the hours of 4pm to 6pm. Qualifications: Eligible candidates for the reading Buddy position includes youth over 16 years of age and adults who have earned a High School Diploma/GED and who pass a criminal history record check.
