Alzheimer's Association - Western Carolina Chapter

Public Policy volunteers help improve the quality of care and quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families by carrying our message to elected officials at the federal, state and local levels.  Congressional Team Members are volunteers committed to advocacy who help to raise their elected officials’ awareness of and support for the Alzheimer’s Association’s public policy goals. Team members work with their team leaders (“Ambassadors”) and Alzheimer’s Association staff on advocacy assignments to advance the Association's federal legislative priorities. Find out more about this opportunity by signing up online or by emailing Lagolden@alz.org.
